We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operations and ensure that our products are transported and delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company’s transportation, distribution, and inventory management systems, as well as leading a team of logistics professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize transportation, distribution, and inventory management processes
• Manage the company’s transportation network, including negotiating contracts with carriers and managing freight rates and schedules
• Oversee the distribution network, including managing warehouses, inventory levels, and customer service levels
• Ensure that all logistics activities comply with regulatory and company standards
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead a team of logistics professionals, including hiring, training, and managing staff, as well as providing direction and guidance
• Develop and manage logistics budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
• Ensure that the company’s logistics operations are reliable and available to support business operations 24/7
• Manage relationships with external logistics vendors, service providers, and consultants

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics management roles, preferably in the mining or natural resources industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, and inventory management systems, as well as logistics regulations and compliance standards
• Experience managing logistics teams and budgets
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to travel as needed
