We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our organization, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Provide support for audits and financial reviews
- Perform other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
