We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer with Mining experience to join our team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for our mining operations, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.



  • Identify and source mining-related goods and services for our mining operations
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring best prices and terms are achieved
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet their needs
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify potential suppliers and ensure competitive pricing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including ethical procurement practices
  • Analyze and report on procurement activities, including spend analysis and cost savings initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure procurement processes are aligned with overall business goals


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on mining-related goods and services
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
