We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our IT operations and ensure that our technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company’s hardware, software, and network systems, as well as leading a team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our data and systems
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals
• Ensure that all IT systems are compliant with regulatory and company standards
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency and productivity
• Lead a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and managing staff, as well as providing direction and guidance
• Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
• Ensure that the company’s IT systems are reliable and available to support business operations 24/7
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles, preferably in the mining or natural resources industry
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems, as well as IT security and compliance standards
• Experience managing IT teams and budgets
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
